Well, you don't have to be cool! Just be yourself! Try talking to some new people, (they are probably wondering the same thing as you), and just say hi and introduce yourself. Soon you will make friends and as long as they like you, then it doesn't matter what others might say about you. I met my best friend last year by getting lost! I couldn't get my locker open and when I did, I had no one to follow to find the cafeteria. Then I bumped into my best frind and asked her if she knew. Sure enough, she did! We've been best friends ever since! So don't worry too much about being cool. As long as you are nice, yourself, and polite, then you should have no trouble! Of course there are bullies but don't worry about them. Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions then just ask! :)
