Dick is the genius behind the DoInk drawing & animation tools. He is a PhD from MIT, in case you wonder who could write such awesome software. Dick started working on our tools 5 years ago & continues to code away today. As a few people have guessed, the company is called DK Pictures for a reason. Dick is my business partner.

To build & run a website the size of DoInk costs money. Servers are expensive, etc. The 5 of us who work on the site are all volunteers. We do not get paid. So the way our users can help support the site & keep it open is by purchasing coins. Thanks for your support.

Currently the way to add sound is to download your animation to a .avi file by going in our Bazaar. Then add sound to your clip with iMovie or Moviemaker.
As we keep saying...we're working on sound now but it is a huge job because we have to make it work on both our iPad app & this website. Since we're a small company & all "volunteers" it takes some time. Hang in there.
thanks for the comment, Karen :) my friend told me who you are so I want to thank you for the comment :0
