As per usual maybe I'm just a little slow. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but... There are lots of hotkeys for when you're working on a project. Most I've known about for quite awhile having found by mousing over the various tools so I don't think I'm slow in this regard. For example under drawings (some make sense others less so) : The color picker = i Brush = b Eraser = e Fill = k Pen = p Ellipse = l Rectangle = m Text = t Hand = h Magnify (zoom) = z
And it's the magnify tool that I recently discovered something about that maybe I'm just a little slow on noticing. Well last week I wanted to zoom out just a little bit without opening the tab of preset zoom %, so just for the heck of it I pressed Z to get the zoom tool open tried ctrl + left mouse click and it zooms out a little at a time. Very handy if you want to zoom out a little bit to a non pre-set distance or whatever, or if you're lazy like I sometimes am, or If you're looking at a picture of something for reference or have music in the background and as a result have pushed the DoInk window off the right side of the screen and the zoom tool can't be selected. That's not a problem if you only want to zoom in because you can just hit Z. But if you want to zoom out you'd have to move the screen and cover up what you're looking at. Also you can Set pan and zoom to show the (w)hole canvas = w Set pan and zoom to the default level and location = r
For anyone who already knew all this, forgive me for being redundant, and slow in the case of ctrl + click for zooming out. :)
Oh and before you tell me that there are more hot keys like for sending various selections forward and back, I know, but maybe some people want to find them on their own :D

Heh, I use those all the time! I always keep my fingers ready on the keyboard. E and B are the ones I use most. :)
I didn't know about T and H, though... thanks!

I think theres one that you didn't mention, it isn't really a hotkey, but when you are working zoomed in, and don't want to have to go ALL the way to the hand tool, move, and then go ALL the way back to the brush tool... what you do is ( for macintosh computers ) hold down the apple key and click and drag, when you let go of it, it goes right back to the previous tool, PC is pretty much the same, it's the command button I think... maybe...

wow I didn't know you could zoom out!! I always pressed r then zoomed in again
You know, I sometimes wish that Zoom was a different hotkey: there are times when I'm trying to hit "Undo" (ctrl Z) and I accidentally select the magnifying glass.

there's also V for select/transform, Q for lasso, and A for modify!
One trick I use to select multiple objects is to hold ctrl+shift and click on what I want to select~ Then to deselect is to do the same thing and click on what to deselect~ xD
