Final Animation: Over the Brink

(This is non-canon.)

His breath came in frantic gasps as he stood alone, disarmed and vulnerable. Never before had he felt so helpless in the wild- like a cornered mouse, a deer with nowhere to run, a turtle without it's shell. And the Hyenas could smell his fear, and they cackled in the dark. He backed up against a tree and awaited what he felt would be the final moment of his life. Little did he know that his Medallion was prepared...

Ok! So this is it, what is hopefully the final version of "Over the Brink". I think I'm done with him. Despite the weirdness in the leg region and the not-so-flowyness of his cloak, at least I'm very happy with his abdomen and chest. I really, really like how he breathes in this one. :B

I'm probably not going to try to fix this anymore, but feel free to critique!

(Oh, and this isn't my 'final animation I'll ever do ever', this is the final version of Over the Brink.)

Nice job kaikuro.

Watch the clipping on the knees, but it's not really that noticeable. :)

sweet! I could never do this. However since you asked for a critique the only thing that is a little strange is the cape, but i know that everything else took long enough lol. I wish i had the patience to do something like this. GREAT WORK! :D

The cloak should be down because hair is not moving .. so no wind . Breathing is very naturel, i really love it !
Kaikuro and the background (ligth form the back and color) don't fit perfectly but it's not really matter because the animating is cool :B

Yeah, you're right, it just ddn't look right so still. :P

Yeah I know, he's waaaay too bright for his environment, but I made it this way because it needed to be creepy.

FUN TIME: If it doesn't kill your computer, enlarge the screen and mess around with the time bar, it makes it look like he's hyperventilating xD

Ooh! I finally get to see this! It's been a while, because I was gone pretending to be busy.

I really like the way that all the different joints blend together when they move. And there's hardly any parts jutting out where they're not supposed to. I rate this on a scale of 1 to 10: Very very good. XP

Yes you could make it! All you need is a lot of time on your hands. Basically I cut him up into peices- I had his head, neck, upper arms, lower arms, thighs, calves, feet, chest, abdomen, tunic skirt, cloak and cloak clasp areas all on different drawings. I put him back together in composition and made everything in motion- a 'breathe' effect, especially in the rising shoulders and "inhale/exhale" of the chest and abdomen regions.
