Fanart of Dustfinger from Cornelia Funke's novel series "Inkheart", "Inkspell", and "Inkdeath".

I read Inkheart a few months ago, and just saw the movie 2 days ago, and absolutely loved this character. (I really liked the movie too, but it ruined a few elements of the second book, which I have yet to read.)

I like Dustfinger because of his development through the movie, how he was rather self-centered throughout the majority of it, then he had a change of will towards the end. I also was intrigued with his magic and profession. Fire-juggling: whoo! :D

As for the animation, I know it's not like real juggling- I know an amazing juggler personally, but real juggling was HARD to animate.

This may be your smoothest yet! I love it!!!! And I really didn't like the movie, it changed way to much from the book. On a book-tto-movie scale I'd rate it Eragon. :P

Whaat? I disagree, I think they did a good job with what they had. Eragon, however, was a colossal failure (and most people would agree with that.)

I read the first two books - didn't see the movie though becuase it didn't sound very true to the book.

I would get on here more if the computer I have the most would actually let me draw stuff on it. sigh Anyways, I remember reading that scene in the book and it was early in the story and I was getting more drawn in with every page. Thanks for giving another image to it. :)

And you can't get the third book from the library just yet - I still have it in my room. :P
