Full Movie Project: The Cat

A fairy-tale movie I made for English :)
Took an entire day to make, from one sun up to the next. I haven't eaten a thing! Okay, well I had a banana towards the end, lol.
All components of this piece were designed, drawn, and animated by myself. Lots of work :) I had a lot of fun on this. I'm pretty new here.

Wow.

Everything about this, the lighting, the composition, the story, its very well done! I am beyond impressed!

Reminds me of the Good Samaritan parable in the Bible.

Yes, it's a lot like a lot of things--the bible, beauty and the beast, the wife of Bath's tale, the frog prince-- It's a pretty common theme.

This is so amazingly well done. I also cannot believe this is your first project. Nothing like doing an epic and learning the software as you go along. We all hope your English class loved it as much as we did!

It's actually my second. I havent published my first yet... it kinda sucks 'cause I hadn't a clue what I was doing. Maybe I'll publish it anyway though.
I did learn A LOT this time around though! I had a blast doing it. My class loved it too :D

Wowies, glad you loved it!!!
It took almost 24 hours to complete without eating, but I didn't even feel it! I just got very into what I was doing. Hours few by like minutes, no lie!!! It was nuts.
I will certainly do more. I think I'm working on one with vampires(leave it to a goth of five years, lol). Hopefully it'll turn out well, but I'm not sure. I kinda just jumped in without a story board or plan, unlike this one.
The prince IS hot... he look like a blonde version of my boyfriend, haha X)

Lol we were SUPPOSED to do a skit... but our group had only two people and our story had much more then two characters. A skit would be lame, lol, so I did this. Thanks a lot!

Yes, they do :) I've taken home hurt animals, but none of them turned into highly shaggable men. Poot.

You have a very ugly and distorted cat that turns into a prince then marrys the hobo girl. OMG I wuv dis story :D

Great Job. Superb animation with sniffle more likes on it than all of my drawings combined sniffle :P

Great story, great and smooth animation and great use of the composition for your panning and zooming.

I loved it. Poor kitty in the begining. Try watching mine though. They are kind of bloody and they are really short but you might like them. If your english class didnt like it, they should have! It was amazing.
